Daily lists can get ambitious. Monthly plans can get overwhelming.
Somewhere comfortably in the middle sits a week. And, as it turns out, that’s a rather useful amount of time to work with.
That’s where the Running List comes in.
Using an adaptation of the Alastair Method, it keeps your tasks together in one running list, helping you see what’s happening, what’s moved and what still needs your attention.
And because life doesn’t always go according to plan, it’s completely undated.
Pick it up when you need it. Carry on when you’re ready.

FOR THE WEEKS THAT DON'T GO TO PLAN
Any Monday
Undated, so a missed week costs you nothing.
The dated planner is a lovely idea until about March. Two weeks go by, the spreads stay empty, and the thing you bought to help you has quietly become a record of the weeks you didn't manage. Most people stop there and feel bad about it every time they see it.
Nothing here is dated. You start on the Monday you actually start, skip the fortnight you were away, and pick it up again with no gap to explain. The pages you didn't use are still waiting for you.

The folio is good quality and pretty
Great notebook
Love all the notebooks
This is the perfect notebook for me. I keep a running list of work tasks on one side and home/life tasks on the other. Carry over the undone tasks week to week and I’m much better at remembering everything. Simple but effective.
Such a pretty color and the instructions to add notebooks were very easy to follow
All items shipped faster than expected and are great quality.
Very useful. Arrived promptly and was well wrapped. Good value
All note books are beautiful. Arrived promptly and were well packaged
Beautiful product. Definitely will order more as gifts.
Great notebook, great quality, I'm very happy with my order :)
I love these nearly more than my children. I’ve used them for 2 and a half years now. I don’t even use the front section (not fussed about that stuff) but I love the different pages (also don’t use them all, I have favourites). The paper feels nice, having them in a folio is perfection, and they store nicely on my bookshelf in a basket when they’re full.
I love using this is conjunction with my Fast Brain Friend - the FBF is my daily and the Running List is my brain dump to be sorted and prioritised. Perfection!
It’s very sweet, thank you. It’s also going to help me know which way is up!
I've always lived for the Storylines Friend, but to feel it in this beautiful new material...I adore it. The new colour is stunning and will be such a treat in my new grimoire! I'm ready for ALL of the fanfiction!
Folio's are always amazing quality and will make perfect gifts for my creative twins to stack all of their books into and keep all of their most treasured work in one place.
Good
Great product!
Amazing!!
Very happy with my order. It’s exactly as I imagined it.
Perfect I love it
I love it!!
I have been using creator's friend products for quite a while. I have so much chunky stuff in my current folio, that when I saw my favourite salty plum was available in threefold I jumped at the chance to get it labelled "THINKING ON PAPER". I am also very interested in seeing how I can use the new layouts in the fast brain friends that I ordered at the same time.
Love it!
My daughter bought me a few different books to use as my planner/diary this year. I quite like the monthly layouts in the Fast Brain Friend, and plan to run with them all next year. This is why I bought the complete set of 12. It will probably take a little to get used to my menu planner at the back rather than the front of the new design. It’s a good learning curve for me.
Love the layout but the paper is quite thin
Beautiful colour schemes. I've tried weekly planners in the past but fail at consistency with them. I'm hopeful that the future planner and running list combo will allow me to plan my schedules as needed, without stressing about missing and wasting weeks here or there.
Been looking at these for so long and finally got them. No regrets. 10/10 👌
Gorgeous colour - even better in real life. The leather feels beautiful and the elastics feel durable too. Love it!
Great quality paper and binding. The layout is perfect for people who love to make to-do list dumps, and the key they’ve included in the front as an example of how to use is really helpful.
Make them stronger, this wasn't mishandled
Fantastic!
Love this non-intimidating layout for my neurodivergent teen
Buying from an Australian site, I was expecting this to be Australian made but it shipped from China.
Refillable Folio in Salty Plum
Store owner replied: Hi Melanie! We do have international fulfilment partners, and when it means a faster delivery for you, your order may be routed to one of them for dispatch. Please know that the business is still based out of our lovely Studio in Townsville ☺️
The folio is so gorgeous and high-quality, I absolutely love it. I'm holding 4 inserts and there's no warping or buckling through tensions on the elastics. An option to add a pen loop or similar might be a nice addition to future versions (apologies if this is an option and I just missed it!) Shipping was reasonably priced and faster than I expected.
I really like the different sections, but admittedly struggled to write in this book. The spacing is quite tight and requires very small and neat handwriting which is not always the case. I wonder if there is a way to eliminate or minimize the empty space that separates the different sections which might allow for slightly taller rows for writing. Otherwise, I love the look and feel of this planner!
ABSOLUTELY OBSESSSSSED!! So soft, colour is RICH, size is perfect. As a journal ecosystem newbie, I appreciate the easy to follow instructions too.
Love that these come as a separate option for personalising. Easy to install too.
Can't live without it!
Sturdy and it stays in place!
