We’ve heard you know a little someone with an awesome imagination… Someone who could grow those ideas into amazing stories with just the right Friend (wink) by their side.

Welcome to Imagination Land! 

There’s lots of cool things in here that are going to help your little bud learn how to take their fantastic ideas and mould them into compelling stories.

The activities simplify the core premises of good storytelling into fun and interesting activities for children. This workbook will be a space for them to visit when they need to build confidence in their own ideas and enjoy the process of imagining where that could take them.

Imagination Land is jam-packed, but there is a handy map to help your little friend explore.

Inside, you’ll find four magical sections designed to spark ideas and invite adventure:

Here’s where your kids can visit in Imagination Land. Each section contains a mix of both prompts and templates.  

Scenario Station

We’ve already got some story ideas waiting at the station, all they need is an imagination like yours to bring them to life!

Character Cove 

When you need some cool characters for a story - you visit the cove. 

Did you know every hero (and villain) you’ve ever read was created right here on these sandy shores? The way a character looks, feels and acts can take shape here. Read to create your own?

Story Mountain

This part of Imagination Land is super duper important. It’s where you actually take those amazing ideas and turn them into action-packed stories people can’t wait to read. When you want to turn your ideas into something with a start, middle and end - your climb story mountain.

Comic Arcade

When you want to bring your ideas to life in pictures, visit the arcade. The way you play here is good for more than just comic strips. This is how you start to piece together what a story would look like in pictures.

Sounds like a lot, right? It is. But there’s no wrong way to explore it - that’s the joy of it being your OWN Imagination Land. This notebook is loaded with fun activities that your kids can jump in and out of- plus there’s a sweet little friend who appears on every page to help them out. 

They can come back at any time to create and learn new skills along the way.

Age Recommendations
We recommend Imagination Land for ages 8 and up.
Kids as young as 6 can find it enjoyable should they have the literacy levels to enjoy the process. 
Because the notebook simplifies genuine creative writing concepts such as archetypes, world-building and the development of plot - children as old as 15 can still find the workbook incredibly useful to build confidence in their ability to craft compelling stories. (Actually, even some of the adult team members in our office have been learning lots of new creative things playing in the workbooks too!!)


What You Need
All your kids need to use the Imagination Land workbook is some pencils and that magic brain of theirs.
We would also recommend they have a blank notebook with them in case inspiration strikes and they want to scribble down an epic story!!
