FRIEND is an Australian design studio making notebooks, hobby journals, and lovely little things for the kind of person who throws themselves at their interests with both arms open. We started because we couldn't find the notebooks we wanted. Ones that matched the enthusiasm we actually felt about things such as reading, learning, writing, and the joy of thinking on paper.
Every notebook we make starts from a single question: what would make this practice feel like something you'd actually look forward to? Not a productivity system. Not a performance. A small, warm ritual you'd want to return to, again and again, for the sheer pleasure of it.
We're designed in Australia. We use vegan leather where leather used to be. And we care, wholeheartedly, about the kind of small, beautiful, things that make a day feel like yours.
