01 EVERY NOTEBOOK HAS 33% MORE PAGES
Noticeably chunkier, but still snack-sized.
Page volume has increased to 64 pages in every notebook including the addition of a dot grid section at the back for bullet journalling, brain dumps, and bright ideas.
The notebooks are still slim, undated and thread sewn. They continue to slip perfectly inside all of your folios (just a touch more girth).

The matte laminate is gone. We wanted to marry up our planner range with the same durable, tactile finish of our Hobby Note range, making sure your entire collection looks and feels like they belong together.
Fast Brain notebooks are now printed in a richer offset colour, both inside and out, all on uncoated 300gsm craft.

The new layouts have been built off 5 more years of knowledge in the field of neurodiversity, and road testing from hundreds of thousands of users on how your brain truly interacts with the layouts.

04 THE LAYOUTS HAVE BUILT IN PARALYSIS BREAKERS
Some of the most common feedback from new users was that feeling of paralysis when approaching different layouts for the first time.
So we built small, unobtrusive guidance into every layout to help you push past this moment.
These prompts give more insight into not just how a certain layout can be approached, but what is happening in your brain when you do it (pretty cool right).
Importantly - these sections remain nothing more than helpful ideas. You can still choose to use them in entirely different ways... we secretly love when you do.
05 BUILT AROUND YOUR DAYS, NOT YOUR CALENDAR
This might actually be the most important change. Fast Brain notebooks were originally built in a way that felt like they should only last a month at a time. But the reality is that not every day needs to be plotted out.
What we have found is that most people keep a Fast Brain on hand for fuzzy days, and then accompany that with one of our other notebooks for organising their actual calendar.
The increase in density of each notebook plus the shift in how layout modes work has been an ackowledgement of how people are really using the notebooks, and is why it's no longer tied to a month at all.
It's okay if one notebook lasts you months a time.
We also shifted the weekly preparation spreads to the back of the notebook. Daily focus layouts drive the goal of a Fast Brain, but weekly prep remains an option for when your executive functioning just ain't functioning.

I ordered this one as a try-out, I think it’s just “not for me”…
Me & my fast-slow-fast brain are loving my new FRIEND… The notebooks are great quality, so happy to see a way FINALLY to get myself organised, and SO glad I picked the blue folio ( I hesitated for a very long time 🕰️) TBH the multiple planner formats are actually causing minor overwhelm, but they’re just getting the normal (for me) treatment: I see them, I love them, I will use them when I’m ready for them 😬 Then my only problem will be choosing the colours for my next order…
Obsessed with my rituals I am using it every day and even had to buy snazzy new colouring pencils …

I love the multiple layouts in the fast brain friends
I absolutely LOVE my Writers Kit but unfortunately, the student kit wasn't as user friendly for me and adaptable as I thought it would be so I ended up giving them away. But, again, I do love the ones I purchased from the writer's kit. This particular version just isn't for me.
I love the Fast Brain Planners - and I love the magnetic marker. I will be order this for my daughter in law - who also has a fast brain!
Running List is what started it all for me! It has truly changed the way my brain is able to organize and prioritize. It was the gateway drug to my full Fast Brain system use for sure!

After writing my first book I've been looking for a good way to track characters and plot stories. The problem is that i prefer to write my stories by hand and wanted a physical journal to track everything. Your journal not only does that but allows for full world building as well. I can't wait to start plotting my next series with it and will absolutely buy similar journals you may have in the future.
The leather is so soft, yet still sturdy. And set up was so easy between the written instructions sent and the additional pictures on the website.

I love my notebooks, but one of the highlighters was dried out, and my name was not embossed like it was supposed to be. Would still order from this company again because I love the product so much even with those things going wrong.

Okay, so honestly, i was REALLY excited to get this. I researched a couple other brands with similar items and decided to go with this one… It took what felt like forever to ship (it was about 3 weeks, not including shipping time to the US) and i did not get any customization on my item. I’m not super stoked about the notebooks that came with it, tbh. I don’t really understand why there are two of the same Fast Brain friends instead of each being different notebooks. Anyway, I got my folio all set up and ready to use and started flipping through the “friends” and they’re not the most easy to understand. Maybe this is just a me thing? I purchased Rituals friend along with this set and it’s by far my least favorite. The Running List friend is nice and somewhat helpful, I’ve used maybe 3-5 pages in the Future Planner friend, but honestly there’s a “list maker” next to each monthly calendar view that seems redundant when i already have the running list friend. it’s nice if you want a quick monthly view, but tbh i’ll probably use my phone’s calendar way more than this. I wish there were sample pages posted of each friend’s listing, because I definitely would have known some of these were not for me. Oh also, don’t write on the front covers with pen. IT WILL SMUDGE. Even if you think you’ve waited long enough 😭 Overall, the quality of the folio is nice and once I run out of pages in these friends, I’ll probably just buy blank notebooks to put in it.

i swapped out my original bands for these & it looks so cute! plus now with the extra band. my book holds 6 “friends” (notebooks) plus a folder and a zipper pouch, so 8 things total!

Big fan of the Fast Brain planners! I love the varied daily spreads that I can choose based on my mood and how productive (or distracted) I'm feeling that day. The habit tracking at the top of every page is also super useful for an at-a-glance view of whether I'm sticking to my goals or not. Unfortunately my shipping experience with Creator's Friend was not as positive, as their site states 5-7 business days for shipping and I waited 20 days. I was only sent a shipping notification after I emailed them to follow up, and received no other communication from their team to let me know why my order had been delayed. That aside, I'd absolutely recommend these planners to other people who struggle with traditional diaries and are looking for something that actually works with their brain.
Ordered a custom folio and I could not have been happier!! I bring mine with me daily and its been helpful in reminding myself to journal atleast once a day. I have four notebooks in it right now that each have its own purpose. Its definitely its own ecosystem now that helps me stay organized
