Our much loved ADHD daily productivity planner system has been lighting up the fast brains of more than half a million happy customers since its original development in 2021. After writing my first book I've been looking for a good way to track characters and plot stories. The problem is that i prefer to write my stories by hand and wanted a physical journal to track everything. Your journal not only does that but allows for full world building as well. Okay, so honestly, i was REALLY excited to get this. I researched a couple other brands with similar items and decided to go with this one… It took what felt like forever to ship (it was about 3 weeks, not including shipping time to the US) and i did not get any customization on my item. I’m not super stoked about the notebooks that came with it, tbh. I don’t really understand why there are two of the same Fast Brain friends instead of each being different notebooks. Anyway, I got my folio all set up and ready to use and started flipping through the “friends” and they’re not the most easy to understand. Maybe this is just a me thing? I purchased Rituals friend along with this set and it’s by far my least favorite. The Running List friend is nice and somewhat helpful, I’ve used maybe 3-5 pages in the Future Planner friend, but honestly there’s a “list maker” next to each monthly calendar view that seems redundant when i already have the running list friend. it’s nice if you want a quick monthly view, but tbh i’ll probably use my phone’s calendar way more than this. I wish there were sample pages posted of each friend’s listing, because I definitely would have known some of these were not for me. Oh also, don’t write on the front covers with pen. IT WILL SMUDGE. Even if you think you’ve waited long enough 😭 Overall, the quality of the folio is nice and once I run out of pages in these friends, I’ll probably just buy blank notebooks to put in it.

Big fan of the Fast Brain planners! I love the varied daily spreads that I can choose based on my mood and how productive (or distracted) I'm feeling that day. The habit tracking at the top of every page is also super useful for an at-a-glance view of whether I'm sticking to my goals or not. Unfortunately my shipping experience with Creator's Friend was not as positive, as their site states 5-7 business days for shipping and I waited 20 days. I was only sent a shipping notification after I emailed them to follow up, and received no other communication from their team to let me know why my order had been delayed. That aside, I'd absolutely recommend these planners to other people who struggle with traditional diaries and are looking for something that actually works with their brain.

The Fast Brain Story

Out of everything I've ever created, this is the one thing I am perhaps most proud of.

As a neurodivergent myself, I know how the idea of a productivity planner can feel like a lifeline, as if they’re going to all of a sudden bring order to your mind. But the reality of using regular planners is that you can very quickly end up overwhelmed and unmotivated.

This collection of 48-page productivity planners is a very intentional design for the neurodivergent mind. It's for those of us whose brains feel like a constant hum of an orchestra (or swarm of bees) echoing throughout.

The biggest difference is that it's not actually one big annual planner at all, but a collection of bite-sized, gamified, pocket planners.

We understand how quickly you can feel defeated if you feel you've missed a month, a week, or a day along the way and end up abandoning your hopes and dreams of being organised. So we've split this annual planner into 12 small, colourful notebooks. Choose a new colour each month and start with a fresh sense of purpose.

This collection is perfect for kids and adults alike who are trying to prioritise their self-management. Pick up a collection for yourself, or gift it to a loved one you think would benefit from trying a new system of productivity.

Whilst this collection has been designed with ADHD magic brains in mind, the productivity concepts in place will work for everyone.

We strive to ship all packages within 2 business days, occasional delays may occur during peak periods or due to unforeseen circumstances. Items with customisation may take longer.

Order tracking

Australian orders are sent via Australia Post and can take 2-7 days.

International orders are sent DHL+ and usually take 2-6 days.

Your shipment notification email will provide you with a tracking ID. You can also log into your account at any time to check your order progress.

We are super lucky that Australia operates under free trade agreements with many countries, however countries that are not covered by an FTA may charge tariffs on low value imports.

As of August 19, 2024, all taxes and duties will be calculated and collected at checkout on your behalf to avoid any surprise customs bills.

Our Hobby Notebooks are designed and assembled in our Australian studio using materials ethically sourced both locally and overseas.
