Hi Friends,
Welcome to our Atelier. We wanted a way to to offer more options when it came to developing notebook sets that are uniquely yours.
A place where we can press your words into your folio by hand, then match your favourite lace colours, and even assemble them with all of your favourite notebooks and trimmings for you - just how you like it.
This is your space to make those very special requests.

The folio
Five colours, vegetable-tanned, $40 each.
Laces
One inner lace holds your notebooks. The belly ribbon takes one or two — in different colours if you like.

Embossing
Three initials, or a line of up to eighteen characters. Pressed by hand into the front panel.

How the debossing works
Every folio can be pressed by hand here in the studio, in an all-caps serif typeface — Times New Roman — as drawn above.
- A monogram is up to three characters. A quote is up to eighteen, spaces included, and adds $5.00.
- The press is one size, so a quote is not made smaller to fit — it is set over two lines, broken at the space nearest the middle so the two read evenly.
- The English alphabet, numbers and a range of special characters, listed below.
- Two lines still need room. A quote centred on a corner runs off the edge of the folio, so the corners and the spine take a monogram only — while a quote is chosen, the placements that can hold one are the ones offered.
- Because they are made to order, personalised items cannot be returned or refunded.
- Personalisation adds 3–5 days before dispatch.
